Population levels of more than 700 North American bee species are declining as habitat loss and pesticide use continue at a breakneck pace. Please consider natural alternatives to harsh chemicals on plants and as pesticides. Our food supply depends on it! We are big fans of bees in New Mexico and had to design a shirt to help spread the message...let's give bees a chance!
Aaron Freeland is a Diné (Navajo) artist who grew up in Farmington, New Mexico, and currently resides in southern New Mexico. He attended the Native American Institute of Arts in Santa Fe, where he studied with Fritz Scholder and other prominent art professors.
